Winter Shelter
Details
Bayside Baptist Church collaborates with PiN (People in Need) Ministry and will host a Winter Shelter December 3-10. Under the guidance and direction of the PiN Ministry, guests will stay over night in our gym and be offered breakfast and dinners in the Café. We are looking for volunteers to help with the following areas:
· Engagement: Make the most of this opportunity to engage with our guests, listen to them by being in conversation with them, and looking for opportunities to turn those conversations into Gospel conversations. This is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we can do!
· Food Prep and Service: Work in the kitchen preparing meals and serving the dinners to our guests.
· Activities: Each night is planned with activities to involve our guests and make them feel at home.
· Drivers: Drivers are needed to pick-up and drop-off guests each morning and evening.
Volunteers are need for morning and evening shifts.
